Ashrafi Book Depot, which provides free books to poor students

In the current difficult time of high inflation when everyone is worried, Ashrafi Book Depot in Shah Faisal Colony No. 3 has introduced a free course facility for needy students.

How can needy parents get this course? MM News correspondent visited Ashrafi Book Depot and got the following valuable information for readers.

Junaid, the owner of Ashrafi Book Depot, told MM News that the inflation has increased so much that parents are unable to teach their children, while the situation has worsened after the lockdown, but they try to ensure that no child remains deprived of education due to costly books.

Junaid said that for the better future of the children, they also provide books at a 50% discount.  “If someone comes who is poor, then we give them book at 80% discount, while some people come who are not able to buy at all, so we provide book to them absolutely free,” he added.

Junaid said that they have O Level and A Level books and all the books from Class one to IX, while they also have books for First Year, Second Year, B.Com, BSc, BA, and other classes.

“When we see that the person who comes to buy books is in need, we also provide his books for free, while some people are not in need, yet they say that they are in need, but God thanks, we judge them from their faces, however, we do what we can from our side.”

He said that the prices of books have increased a lot and it is difficult for them to provide new books to everyone free of cost, so they are providing free old books to needy students.
