Asfandyar Wali’s wife passes away

Awami National Party (ANP) head Asfandyar Wali’s spouse passed away on Monday in Peshawar.

She was the mother of ANP’s provincial president Aimal Wali Khan.

The timing of her funeral prayers will be later announced. She will be buried in Wali Bagh, Charsadda.

The official account of the party on X confirmed her death in a post on Monday.

Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari on Monday expressed condolence over the death of Awami National Party leader Asfandyar Wali’s wife.

“My sympathies and prayers go to the bereaved family,” the president said, according to a President House press release.

He prayed to Allah Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and patience to the grieved family members to bear the loss with fortitude.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif also expressed grief over the death of  Asfandyar Wali Khan’s wife.

Sympathizing with the bereaved family, he prayed to Allah Almighty for forgiveness of the departed soul and patience to the family members.
