Gabriel Martinelli’s goal was sufficient to help Arsenal increase their advantage at the top of the Premier League with a spirited 1-0 victory over Leicester City.
Leandro Trossard’s quick assist allowed the Brazilian to score in the first minute of the second half by rolling his shot past Danny Ward.
As Arsenal’s Ben White fouled Ward during the buildup, Trossard’s excellent goal from the first half was ruled off. Before facing Bournemouth on Saturday at 17:30 GMT, Arsenal leads Manchester City by five points.
