Apple iPhone 16 expected to get earlier release

While Apple typically unveils its new iPhone models in September, the exact release date for the iPhone 16 lineup remains uncertain.

The latest rumor suggests that Apple might launch the iPhone 16 series on September 10. This speculation comes from a recent report by CNMO Technology News, as noted by Phone Arena. September 10 is a Tuesday, which aligns with Apple’s usual practice of holding iPhone announcement events on Tuesdays, though the iPhone 14’s launch deviated from this trend by occurring on a Wednesday in 2022.

The new iPhone 16 models, including the iPhone 16 Ultra, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, are expected to be available for purchase starting September 20.

However, CNMO’s track record with such rumors is not well-established, so it’s wise to take this date with caution for now. There are, however, various rumors regarding the new iPhones’ features. The iPhone 16 is expected to come in seven colors: black, blue, pink, yellow, green, white, and purple.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to be available in rose/desert yellow, gray, space black, and white. The iPhone 16 Pro is anticipated to have a larger 6.3-inch screen, while the Pro Max could feature a 6.9-inch display. In contrast, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to retain the current 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch sizes, respectively.

There is speculation that the iPhone 16 models might continue with the iPhone 15’s 60Hz refresh rate, although all models are rumored to have thinner bezels around the display.
