Tech giant Apple is going to hold the ‘Wonderlust’ event on Tuesday (September 12) and we expect to see the rumored iPhone 15 and new Apple Watches announced.
You can watch Apple’s Wonderlust event stream starting at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT.
This will be the first event since Apple unveiled the Vision Pro at WWDC earlier this summer. The annual fall iPhone event has become a cultural touch point heralding the end of summer, right up there with pumpkin spice.
Alongside those updates, Apple is rumoured to be planning new charging technology, faster chips, better battery life and design tweaks for the higher-end, Pro versions of the phone. In all, there is expected to be four versions of the iPhone 15: the base model, the iPhone 15 Plus, the Pro and Pro Max.
Apple is also expected to reveal two models of its wearable – the Watch. The Apple Watch Series 9 and all-new Ultra are expected to have new hardware and screen refresh rate. Watch Series 9 is expected to be available in 41-millimetre and 45-millimetre sizes, while the Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be available in 49-millimetre sizes.
The Airpods will reportedly get new features, like the ability to mute and unmute (a new feature called conversational awareness). Also, these new gadgets are now expected to get USB Type-C charging in place of the existing Lightning port.
