Netflix has released its lineup of Indian films and series that will be released this year.
Netflix India recently unveiled their list of films and series that will be released in 2024. Here are some brand new, some sequels series coming to the online streaming platform this year:
Maamla Legal Hai
The plot is as diverse as each episode tackles a different case, from fighting for the rights of a wrongly accused street vendor to challenging a corporate giant’s unethical practices.
Heeramandi
The Hindi-language drama is set in the backdrop of pre-independence India and centered around a powerful group of courtesans.
Heeramandi will explore stories of courtesans and the hidden cultural reality of Heeramandi (brothels/kothas) a place during pre-independent India which is now located in Lahore, Pakistan.
Dabba Cartel
Dabba Cartel tells the story of five ordinary women from Thane going down a rabbit hole through their dabba delivery business.
The series stars Shabana Azmi, Jyotika, Shalini Pandey, Nimisha Sajayan, Anjali Anand, Gajraj Rao, Sai Tamhankar, Lillete Dubey, Jisshu Sengupta, and Bhupendra Jadawat.
The Great Indian Kapil Show
March 30 will see comedian Kapil Sharma, along with Sunil Grover, Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur find a new home on Netflix. The Great Indian Kapil Show is a variety chat show will feature a prominent celebrity guest every week.
