All passengers abducted from a bus on the Gaddu–Kashmore Road in Ghotki district, Sindh, have been recovered.
According to DSP Ubauro Abdul Qadir, the bus conductor was unable to provide the exact number of abducted passengers.
The abductors had taken 14 passengers.
The DSP stated that 13 abducted passengers were recovered alive, while one body was found.
The deceased, identified as Kareem Bakhsh, a resident of Jaffarabad district, died due to a heart attack.
Police officials said that during the operation, one police officer was injured in an exchange of fire with the abductors.
The attackers also fired rockets at a police armored vehicle.
