Ajmal Khan Lodhi was replaced by Khawaja Junaid as the new manager of the team. Khan is a former international player and is now part of the team management as a coach.
It should be noted that Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced holding Pakistan Hockey League. Five teams will participate in the inaugural season. The Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced to hold the league in November and December this year.

The first season of the Hockey League will be held in Lahore. In this regard, the spokesperson of the Pakistan Hockey Federation said that full preparations will be made for holding the event and it will be made memorable.
He further said that the purpose of organizing the league is to bring forward the talent associated with the national game in the country so that they can get the best platform to showcase their talents.
