ISLAMABAD: A group of PTI Members of National Assembly (MNAs) including Aamir Liaquat Hussain called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and expressed complete confidence in his leadership.
PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat Hussain, Aliya Hamza and Saira Bano called on the prime minister ahead of the no-confidence motion against the prime minister. Federal Ministers Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi and Special Assistant Aamir Dogar were also present on the occasion.
Estranged lawmaker and TV celebrity Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain has finally met Prime Minister Imran Khan ahead of voting on a no-confidence motion after claiming he would remain neutral.
Speaking to media after the meeting, he revealed that he had positive interaction with the prime minister but has not taken his decision on voting in the no-trust motion. The newly-wed lawmaker aid PM Imran is hopeful that the no-confidence motion would fail.
Amir Liauat also revealed that the prime minister congratulated him on his marriage with Dania Shah. He later also shared a photo of his meeting on social media. “Is Amir taking good care of you,” PM Imran asked Dania during the meeting on which she responded in the affirmative.
