Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani worked in a film PK together, getting a lot of love from the audience and proving to be a massive hit in the year 2017, as reported by Indian media.
Actor Aamir Khan, while talking to Just Too Filmy, stated, “Raju and I were not happy with the final resolution of the film. Actually, he had thought of something else altogether, but then Nolan’s Inception was released,” said Aamir, revealing that the initial idea of the climax was a play on altering perceptions by going back in the past.
According to a report by Indian Express, Aamir Khan said, “We wanted to explore the idea of how we could change anything that we think we feel strongly about. But then, Inception was released, and Raju was convinced that people would say he stole the idea from the Nolan film,” revealing the fact that they reshot some portions of PK after rewriting.
“We discussed that we have not been able to make the film we wanted. I was not fully happy, and he was not either. We were not fully happy with the film, but this was the best version we could think of. But people connected with the film, and they liked it, but we were not happy till the end,” said Aamir Khan.
