People are unhappy when one government goes and another comes and false dreams of making the people prosperous are shown which could never come true in the painful 75-year political history of the country.
A political party that promises relief to the people, despite its efforts, cannot control inflation and another, while claiming long experience and awareness of economic issues, seems unable to successfully deal with international institutions.
Yesterday, it was reported that members of the National Assembly of South Punjab expressed serious concerns over the errors in the survey to estimate the losses of the 3 flood-affected districts and alleged that political affiliations were given importance in the lists of victims.
Any intelligent citizen can easily understand that the members of the assembly indeed reach the houses by the votes of the people, but before reaching the assembly, the affiliation with the political party makes them give tickets for the assembly seat.
Big jobs can be pulled out and pulled out by political affiliation. MLAs Riaz Mazari and Afzal Dhandla alleged through a notice that a survey was conducted to assess the damage caused by heavy rains and floods. Names of actual flood victims are missing from the lists.
Recently, the news was released that the flood victims in Sindh do not have even blankets to protect them from the cold, and water could not be removed from the flood-affected areas. The flood victims said that the government should tell where the aid from foreign countries went?
It is felt that whether it is Punjab, Sindh, or any other province of the country, there is a lack of measures for the rehabilitation of flood victims everywhere, while the federal government is calling for climate justice all over the world.
The question is that the justice that you are asking from the international community, has any government in the last 75 years provided even one-tenth of this justice to the people? The answer will definitely be negative. And that is why the international community is not giving you justice.
The sad thing is that Pakistan is not a democracy or a dictatorship but a different kind of system which you can call a communal food system. Apart from discussing and negotiating public issues in the assemblies, the government and the opposition do not seem to be taking any steps for the welfare of the people.
Be it inflation, education provision, or employment problem, all these problems can be solved only when a sincere political party comes to the country and its honest leaders take steps for the welfare of the people. Perhaps this dream is still too late to become a reality.
