MIRANSHAH: The Counter Terrorism Department of of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police has claimed that at least seven terrorists were killed during a shootout which took place last night in North Waziristan.
The CTD claimed that their team was shifting some accused from Miranshah to Bannu when they were attacked by armed terrorists.
The police claimed that an intense exchange of fire took place between their personnel and terrorists as a result of which, four terrorists and three suspected terrorists were killed while the CTD personnel remained unharmed.
Furthermore, they claimed that the terrorists belonged to the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and were involved in prior attacks on the security forces.
Meanwhile, MM News has learnt that those killed in the shootout have been identified as 1.Abdurrahman R/o Mir Ali 2.Noor Qabil (Hamzoni Mrnshah) 3.Arshadullah (Bannu) 4.Mehair Din (Bxu) 5.Ashraf (Hamzoni) 6 Rifatullah (Mirali) 7. Unknown
