A strong 6.2-magnitude earthquake were felt in various cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.
According to details, strong earthquake tremors were felt in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, Punjab, and Islamabad.
The epicenter of the quake was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, with a recorded depth of 190 kilometers.
In Chitral, intense tremors caused sounds of rocks falling from mountains and walls collapsing. Rescue agencies have been put on alert.
Tremors were also felt in Sialkot, Sharqpur Sharif, Phool Nagar, Phalia, Hazro (Chhachh), Gojra, Shahpur Saddar, Pasrur, Mardan, Hangu, Buner, Swabi, Jamrud, Kohat, Shakargarh, Bannu, and surrounding areas.
So far, no immediate reports of casualties or damage have been received. Authorities are assessing the situation, and further details are expected soon.
