ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over a Cabinet meeting to discuss and review the prevailing situation in the occupied Kashmir Valley.
The Cabinet will discuss an eight-point agenda, including the current situation in the Valley. This meeting will also include the decision of closing the Pakistani airspace for the Indian air traffic. Pakistan has shut down its airspace twice in this year for Indian aircraft.
The cabinet meeting will also discuss the approval of the appointment of Federal Minister Fahmida Mirza as a chairperson of the Federal Land Commission. Appointment of private members in the railway board and establishing a committee for finalizing the first Islamic calendar will also be the part of the agenda. The meeting will also approve the Real Estate Regulation and Development Ordinance 2019.
The cabinet meeting is also to review the proposal of regularizing thousands of daily wages employees working in the federal educational institutions.
Pakistan has taken all the necessary steps to show its solidarity to the population of Kashmir, including banning of the Indian imports.
Earlier today, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that we will continue to show the world of unspeakable sufferings of Kashmiris living under the tyrannical rule of India.
Prime Minister Khan is scheduled to embark of US visit to address UNGA on 23rd of this month. PM Khan has assured the citizen that he will use every available International Forum to aware the World of the plights of Kashmiris living under the occupation of India.
