RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday confirmed that three majors of the Pakistan Army were dismissed from services for violating discipline.
The statement read issued by the ISPR said that three officers of the rank of Major were awarded punishment on account of violation of discipline.
The statement added, “Upon found guilty of charges leveled against them, all three dismissed from service while two also awarded rigorous imprisonment for two years each.”
According to the ISPR, the charges against the convicted officers included misuse of authority and involvement in an illegal activity unworthy of an officer.
