A 29-year-old woman has been kidnapped along with her four children from Gujjar Pura, Lahore as reported by national media.
According to police, a case has been registered at Gujjar Pura police station in the provincial capital on the complaint of the husband regarding the abduction of his wife and four children. The complainant, Hafiz Mehmood, informed police that his wife, Amber, had gone to her mother’s house along with their four children.
According to the FIR, 8-year-old Abdullah, 6-year-old Zainab, 5-year-old Ahmed, and 2-year-old Umme Hani were abducted along with their mother, Amber. Amber had set out to visit her mother’s house with the children but was kidnapped on the way.
Police officials say the mother and her children are being searched for with the help of CCTV cameras. SHO Gujjar Pura Muhammad Zaka and a joint investigation team are working to trace the woman and the kidnapped children, who are expected to be recovered soon.
It is worth noting that police across Lahore and the country are facing difficulties in controlling incidents of kidnapping for ransom, theft, robbery, and murder. Criminals carry out crimes in broad daylight and manage to escape.
On the other hand, due to rising terrorism, the safety of lives and property of the public has also become increasingly difficult. Recently, terrorists attacked the Jaffar Express train, in which several people were martyred.
