At least 11 people lost their lives when a passenger bus slammed into a trailer transporting heavy concrete girders near Tando Masti in Khairpur district along the National Highway, rescue officials said early Sunday.
The victims included nine passengers, along with the driver and conductor.
The coach was en route from Punjab to Karachi when the crash occurred.
According to the Edhi Foundation, the deceased were shifted to Khairpur Civil Hospital, while around 10 injured passengers were being treated for their wounds.
On Friday, At least 13 people were killed in a tragic accident involving an oil tanker and a passenger bus near Kathore on the M-9 Motorway.
According to the Chhipa Foundation, 13 individuals lost their lives in the incident, and the bodies are being shifted to a nearby hospital.
Several injured passengers were also being transported to close-by medical facilities, Motorway Police said.
